What kind of approvals does the BedBox™ have?

Customer Service

The BedBox™ does not require approval from the airlines as it is not a Child Restraint Device like a car seat that can be used during taxi, take off, landing and turbulence. The BedBox™ is a comfort device which can only be used during the cruise portion of the flight. The BedBox™ complies with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Standards and Recommended Practices which are the umbrella regulations created by the UN for all regional airline safety regulations. It is up to the individual airlines to review and approve the BedBox™ and many major international airlines have already done this. You can see the list here: Family friendly airline list
